Our Board of Directors represent a composite of visionary leaders who have proven to be the driving force behind Prokhas success. Their various talents and expertise have added value to the strong professional management team to enable Prokhas to grow into what it is today.

Datuk Adinan Maning

Datuk Adinan Maning was appointed as the Chairman and the Board member of Prokhas on 1 September 2019. He is currently the Director of Aeon Credit Services (M) Berhad and Urusharta Jamaah Sdn Bhd. Previously he had served on the Board of BSNC Corporation Berhad as the Chairman, Bank Simpanan Nasional (BSN), Prudential BSN Takaful Berhad, Permodalan BSN Bhd, Gibraltar BSN Life Berhad and World Savings Bank Institute (WSBI).

He started his career in 1980 with Bank Bumiputra Malaysia Berhad (BBMB) as a Credit Officer in the Loan Processing/Credit Department. He served BBMB in various capacities including as Head of Bridging and End Financing Section, KL Branch, Account Manager of Corporate Banking Division, Finance and Operations Manager of BBMB Unit Trusts Management Berhad and his last held position was the Region Head of Commercial Banking Division.

Upon leaving BBMB in 1998, he was appointed as the Group Chief Executive of Panji Timor Sdn Bhd. He later left for Kuantan Flour Mills Berhad where he was appointed as the Chief Executive Officer.

Thereafter, Datuk Adinan Maning assumed the position of the General Manager (Operations I) with Prokhas Sdn Bhd from January 2006 until November 2007. Subsequently he joined BSN as the Chief Executive and Member of the Board of Directors. He ended his tenure with BSN in November 2017.

Datuk Adinan Maning obtained the ICMA professional qualification granted by The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (UK) in 1979.

Dato’ Fauziah Yaacob

Dato’ Fauziah Yaacob was appointed as the Board member of Prokhas on 29 August 2014.

She started her career as the Assistant Secretary in the Ministry of Education in 1981, after which she was appointed as Principal Assistant Secretary in the same Ministry in 1986. She pursued her studies in UK in 1987 and continued her services in civil service upon her return in 1989 as the Assistant Secretary in the Ministry of Finance. She was later appointed as the Assistant Director at the Ministry of Transport in 1992 and assigned to KL International Airport Berhad as the Senior Manager in 1993 for 6 years.

Subsequently she returned to the Ministry of Finance in 1999 serving as Principal Assistant Director of the Budget Division. She was appointed as the Deputy Under Secretary in the Loan Management, Financial Market and Actuary Division in 2006 and was later posted to the Government Procurement Division on the same year. She became the Under Secretary in the division in 2008 until 2012 before appointed as the Deputy Secretary General of Treasury (Systems and Controls) of which she served for more than a year until her appointment as the Deputy Secretary General of Treasury (Investment) in January 2014.

She is currently a member of Malaysian Aviation Commission (MAVCOM).

Dato’ Fauziah Yaacob holds a Bachelor of Arts (Hons.) from the University of Malaya and a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from the University of Liverpool, United Kingdom.

Datuk Mohd Nasir Ahmad

Datuk Mohd Nasir Ahmad was appointed as a Board member of Prokhas Sdn Bhd on 28 October 2013. He is currently the Chairman of CIMB Group Holdings. He also sits on the Board of SIRIM Berhad.

Datuk Mohd Nasir brings with him vast experience in the areas of finance, accounting and management which spans over 39 years, having started his career as a Trainee Accountant with Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB) in 1979 and moving on to hold various positions in the Finance Division.

In January 1993, Datuk Mohd Nasir was seconded to TNB’s subsidiary company, Malaysia Transformer Manufacturing Sdn Bhd as the Financial Controller before being appointed as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) in June 1994.

Datuk Mohd Nasir joined Sharikat Permodalan Kebangsaan Berhad as its CEO in January 2000. On 1 June 2001, he was appointed as the CEO of Perbadanan Usahawan Nasional Berhad, a position he held until his retirement on 1 June 2011.

Datuk Mohd Nasir was the President of Malaysia Institute of Accountants (MIA) from August 2011 to July 2013. He was elected as a Council Member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (United Kingdom) in September 2013 and was re-elected in September 2016. He holds a Master of Business Administration (Finance) from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia.

Datin Rashidah Mohd Sies

Datin Rashidah Mohd Sies was appointed as the Board member of Prokhas on 1 November 2018. She is currently the Under Secretary of Government Investment Companies Division (GIC), Ministry of Finance. Presently, she sits on the Board of Piramid Pertama Sdn Bhd, MKD Signature Sdn Bhd, MKD Sejahtera Sdn Bhd, Bandar Malaysia Sdn Bhd, Aset Tanah Nasional Berhad, Johor Port Berhad, Perbadanan Nasional Berhad (PNS) and Uda Holdings Berhad.

She started her career as Assistant Secretary of the Finance Division (Investment) at the Ministry of Finance in 1989. In 1998, she continued to serve as Assistant Secretary at the Finance Division (Privatisation) with the Ministry of Finance. Later on, she was appointed as the Principal Assistant Secretary of the Investment, MoF (Inc.) and Privatisation Division, Ministry of Finance. From here onwards, she played a massive role in the Government Investment Companies (GIC) Division at the Ministry of Finance as Head of Commercial Unit and Deputy Under Secretary.

Datin Rashidah Mohd Sies holds a Bachelor in Business Administration (Finance) from Idaho State University, USA, a Master of Business Administration from US International University California, USA and a Diploma in Public Administration from the National Institute of Public Administration (INTAN).

Sr. Hj. Nordin Daharom

sr hj nordin daharom Sr. Hj. Nordin Daharom was appointed as the Board member of Prokhas on 1 September 2019.

He started his career with The Valuation and Property Service Department (JPPH) at district level in Teluk Intan, Perak as Valuation Officer on 14 April 1981. He later became the Head of Rating unit of Hilir Perak and was then promoted to District Valuer in 1985. In 1992, he pursued his studies in Scotland, United Kingdom. Upon his return in 1993, he continued his services with JPPH as the District Valuer in Seberang Perai, Pulau Pinang.

Sr. Hj. Nordin Daharom continues to hold various important positions with JPPH at state level such as Director of JPPH Perak, Kedah, Johor, Selangor and National Property Information Centre. Subsequently he was elevated to Deputy Director General of JPPH in Administration, Technical and Strategic & Policy from 2013 until 2016. In 2017, he was appointed as the Director General of JPPH and retired on 5 December 2018. During his tenure with JPPH he has done several special valuations works outside of Malaysia, lecturing and presenting papers. He also does part time lecturing in UiTM, UTM, UTHM, INSTUN and INSPEN.

He is currently an Associate Director of Azami and Co Sdn Bhd in Shah Alam, a Member of Royal Institute of Surveyors Malaysia, a Member of Malaysian Business Valuation Association, an Assessor in Land Acquisition Cases in Shah Alam High Court, an Adjunct Professor in Real Estate Programme of UTM from 2018 – 2020 and a Programme External Assessor for the Master Real Estate Programme session 2018/2019 until 2019/2020.

Sr. Hj Nordin Daharom holds a Diploma in Valuation, Bachelor of Surveying (Property Management) (Hons) from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia and a Master of Land Economy from University of Aberdeen Scotland, United Kingdom.
